Toyotomi has adopted the "Low NOx Laser Burner," the best burner in the industry, for the burning part of its home space heater.  The model was able to cut two-thirds of NOx the nitrogen oxides generated by its Bunsen-type heater and achieved an odorless, clean-air emission.  Toyotomi's Laser Burner emits only 47-58ppm or about one-half of the NOx control value (100ppm) of the industry in 2001.  (Our competitor's unit emits 88-100ppm.)

NOx denotes nitrogen oxides, such as nitrogen dioxide (NO2), the compounds that cause acid rain, photochemical smog, and respiratory diseases.  The Ministry of Environment has focused on the regulation of NOx emitted from automobiles and factories.  The Ministry will encourage emission control of small burning appliances, including home space heaters.

The Laser Burner is made of high-corrosion resistance stainless steel.  It is strong in high temperatures and against rust, and excellent in durability.  There is very little chance of trouble if you should use kerosene left over from the previous year.

It starts quietly, without the "buzz" noise during ignition, and it keeps quiet during combustion.

Why doesn't the Laser Burner smell?
Toyotomi's odor-cutting mechanism does not use any attachments to distinguish odors, not does it generate any odors.  It keeps stable to reduce shifting, using a burning-ring inside of the burner.  With its burnt baffle plate, the unit burns off unburned gas, which occurs when the heater is turned off.

The emission coefficient of CO2, a global warming gas, is 1.8 in electricity (total)
including nuclear power generation and 3 in thermal power generation when it is set as 1 in kerosene.  Oil heating is helpful in preventing global warming.

This is based on the calculations of the Japan Gas Oil Equipment Industrial Association, June 2001.  Actual fuel consumption will change according to the heaters' efficiency, operating conditions, and region.

1.Ignition
Deodorizing Ignition
By prolonging the preheating time, the burner temperature during ignition rises, and the smell is reduced.

2.Extinguishment
The "No-Smell" Mechanism Unburned gas of the combustion, the cause of the smell in extinction, is burned off completely. By controlling the blowing hot air with combustion air, offensive odors are reduced.

By adopting a new feature unique to Toyotomi, the U-shaped oil feed pipe, oil dripped into the burner in extinction is cut to control the cause of odor.
